Joining us for an interview is the fantastic Ronnie Bell.
Hi, how are you and who is Ronnie Bell?
I’m Beyond Blessed. Ronnie Bell is a singer that wanted to be heard and is now being heard. Simply trying to bridge the Gap between R&B and Southern Soul.
So, how did you get into music?
I was born into music. Most people in my family from Great Uncles & Great Aunts on down sang in Church and a few were recording artist. I sang background for my Great Uncle George Perkins in High School, wrote and sang hooks for my Cousins Rap Groups from High School until College.
How did ‘Ronnie Bell 365’ come about?
My former Manager Kim “Frost” Hill wrote and produced the song Cotton Candy and there is a line in there that says “24-7 girl 365” and as we kept recording and that song got more and more popular and we needed a name for the album he brought up that line. Saying we are making music that people can listen to year round hence “Ronnie Bell 365”.
What were the challenges of making ‘Ronnie Bell 365’?
The biggest challenge was my former Manager/Producer Frost passed away before we were able to finish the album, but Thank God for my Friend/Producer/Brother-in-Music Tedy P for stepping in along with my Friend and Producer friend Jamie Evan’s.
What are your plans for 2019?
2019 is slated for the release of the album as well as the “Ronnie Bell 365 Tour”. We want to establish & grow the Ronnie Bell Brand and Music and bring back real singing and good vocals and feel good music.
