Hi, how are you?
Doing great. I’m excited about the upcoming release of my two singles, “ExploD” and “Off The Track” on August 1.
So, how did you get into music?
My parents encouraged me from a young age to get involved in school activities and performances. I am very fortunate to have such a strong support network of family and friends, encouraging me to reach for my goals.
How did ‘ExploD’ and ‘Off The Track’ come about?
‘ExploD’ is a song about love, and how it feels to be in love. I began writing topically, and through the creative process, realized how great it feels to be in love. It has a great beat, and great lyrics. ‘Off The Track’ is about making plans that stick together, to build a good relationship. It’s a fun contemporary pop song.
What were the challenges of making ‘ExploD‘ and ‘Off The Track’?
There were challenges coordinating the lyrics to ‘ExploD,’ and those were quickly overcome by the reality that love is a great topic to write music about. ‘Off The Track’ flowed naturally, and shaped into a really formidable pop song after the theme and tempo were finalized. It’s a great pair of tracks, and I hope people enjoy both.
What are your plans for 2019?
My two singles debut on August 1, and I’m working on an album due out in November. I’m really excited about getting the album out, and allowing people to hear what I can do with my talent. I’m also excited about the possibility of doing some acting, depending on schedules and what makes sense for everyone involved in production.
